EWR Team Set Off 22nd March 2006
The British Army and the Territorial Army, supported by Leeds Met, set off today to begin their attempt to be the first British Team to ascend Mount Everest by one of its toughest and most dangerous routes, the West Ridge.

The support being provided by Leeds Met to the Everest West Ridge (EWR)
Team continues to increase, with staff from the world-class Carnegie Research
Institute attending a training camp in the Swiss Alps, to assist with team
preparations.
