Lecture 7: When Leeds Met Everest
This lecture will provide an opportunity for staff and students of the University to share in the experiences of the Leeds Met staff that have visited the EWR 2006 team at Base Camp in Tibet prior to the summit attempts.
Lecture 8: Development Team's Experiences
Major Kevin Edwards, the expedition leader of the Everest West Ridge Development Team, will be presenting on the team's success on climbing Lhakpa Ri. He will also discuss the support provided by Leeds Met and how this helped their expedition.
