Leeds Metropolitan University has entered into an exciting partnership with the Everest West Ridge 2006 Expedition. Leeds Met, in addition to direct sponsorship, will be able to provide significant and varied physiological, nutritional and psychological support to EWR 2006 as they attempt to become the first British team to climb Everest from the notoriously difficult West Ridge. Team EWR rise to the Three Peaks Challenge

Following their return from the Himalayas, members of the Everest West Ridge (EWR) expedition joined forces with members of the Carnegie sport science support team to participate in the Three Peaks Challenge in an effort to help raise money for the Rugby Football League (RFL) Benevolent Fund.
