Congress check-in is available in the Rose Bowl from 10:00 on Thursday, 8th September 2011; a buffet lunch will be available from 12:00 and proceedings will open at 13:00. Congress will close at 12:00 on Saturday, 10th September.

Congress Highlights
* PR Any Questions - introduced by Jane Wilson, CEO of the CIPR; with key academic and practitioner panellists (Thursday). Expect lively and informed academic / practitioner debate and discussion! Followed by a joint networking session with a Taste of Yorkshire refreshments and the famous Black Dyke Band - one of the world's finest brass bands! Check this page for updates.
* Speakers - Robert Hastings, former senior official in US Department of Defense Communications and Michael Murphy, Global CEO of one of the world's largest independent PR organisations. Prof David McKie of New Zealand's Waikato Management School on 'artful approaches' for tempestuous times and Prof Dr Jeop Cornelissen of UV University Amsterdam on Corporate Communication. Check the

* Euprera Projects & Awards: Details of current and upcoming initiatives and presentation of Congress awards. Also the Euprera Annual General Meeting.
* Poster session: An opportunity for delegates to view poster submissions and engage with the authors.
Social Events
* Wednesday 7 September - evening: "Meet in Leeds". Don't be a stranger in town! Join our postgraduate PR students and fellow delegates for an evening in Leeds - they will be welcoming you to our city and showing you some of the best places to go on the 'Beer and Buildings' walk. Check this page for updates. (Delegates will need to meet the cost of any meals, drinks etc).

* Friday 9 September - evening: Congress Dinner
Join us for good food and conversation.
* Saturday 10 September - Harewood House, including guided tour and cream tea
Optional excursion - £25

An afternoon visit to Harewood House - home of the Queen's cousin, the Earl of Harewood. When registering for the Congress, delegates can also book for a coach trip to this 18th century 'St Petersburg Palace on a Yorkshire Hill' and enjoy entry to the grounds and a guided tour of the House followed by a cream tea in the Courtyard. With its magnificent Robert Adam interiors, Italianate Terrace and stunning views of the landscaped gardens and lake, Harewood House provides a fitting finale to the Conference. Coaches will leave the Rose Bowl after the Congress closes (c 12.30) and return to the Rose Bowl by late afternoon.

PhD Seminar
A PhD Seminar for up to 18 delegates will begin on the evening of Saturday, 10 September and close at noon on Tuesday, 13 September. The seminar will take place at the University of York. For more details please visit our
