It was a pleasure to welcome delegates from 22 countries worldwide to what many said was 'the best EUPRERA Congress yet'. A great mix of academics, practitioners, high calibre papers, stimulating and provocative keynotes and lively discussion all contributed to an enriching Congress. Excellent practitioner keynotes on public relations in a war context and the future of consultancy work perfectly complemented academic keynotes on framing, complexity and leadership in turbulent times. We did some new and different things too; a great Any Questions? panel session with the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and Skype guest Dan Tisch, Chair of the Global Alliance, preceded a Taste of Yorkshire buffet and the world champion Black Dyke Band. As with all great Congresses, we learned a lot, had some fun and it's always a good sign when the final session is as full as the first!
