We are pleased to announce the 'Institute for Public Relations and EUPRERA Award' for the best academic paper at the 2011 Congress. This award will go to the author(s) of the best paper selected from accepted papers for the Congress. A judging panel will review submissions from across the Congress sessions to select the winner of this prestigious prize.
Euprera Jos Willems Award
The Jos Willems Award is presented for the best BA and MA dissertations in Public Relations or Communication studies. Winners in both categories will each receive a cash prize and certificate and their papers will be published on the Euprera website. They are also invited to present their papers at the Euprera Annual Congress 2011, where their registration will be free of charge and their travel and accommodation expenses will be met by Euprera.
Additional benefits include individual recognition as an author and recognition for the winners' institutions as centres of excellence in Public Relations and Communications studies.

Günter Thiele Award
The Foundation for the Support of PR-Science (SPRL) at the University of Leipzig invites submissions for the Günter Thiele Award. This prestigious Award is made for excellent doctoral and postdoctoral theses, and bears the name of the Foundation's most prominent initiator, Dr h.c.Günter F Thiele.
The winner will receive E1,000, as well as up to E1,000 travel and accommodation reimbursement. They will also receive a free place at the Euprera 2011 Congress in Leeds, where the Award will be presented.
