Are you interested in helping athletes maintain body fitness during injury treatment and rehabilitation?
Do you have aspirations of a career working with Professional athletes or perhaps owning your own therapy business supporting individuals from a diversity of sports? An MSc in Sports Therapy at Leeds Metropolitan University provides you with the opportunity to develop a range of knowledge and skills applied practically with a broad range of athletes from University sports teams, support at prestigious external events including The Great North Run. In additional we are able to offer our students practical placements alongside our sporting partners that include; Professional Football, Professional Rugby and private clinics.
This course brings together the extensive expertise from the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences and Carnegie Faculty and is accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists. Our academic staff demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience in the field of Sports Therapy and with support from guest lectures that include; Sports physicians, coaches and other experts this course provides you with the experience and knowledge you need to be a successful Sport Therapist.
Qualifying with a Postgraduate qualification will give you the edge when it comes to starting out in your career and you are also likely to earn up to £4,000 a year more than with an Undergraduate degree.
