How will it help you?
If your application for a VC’s Enterprise Scholarship is successful you will receive up to £3000 worth of funding to help with essential start-up support including (but not limited to):
- Hot desk and meeting space at our business incubatorQU2 and Old Broadcasting House Enterprise Hub
- Equipment and marketing costs at launch
- City centre business address
- Entry to Business start-up workshops/boot camp
- Dedicated business advisors and mentors
- Work shadowing and placements with successful early stage businesses
- Profiling and networking opportunities
Who can apply?

How to apply
There is a two-stage application process for the Vice Chancellor’s Enterprise Scholarship.
Stage 1
Firstly, applicants must complete the Vice Chancellor’s Enterprise Scholarship application form before the closing date of Monday 16th April 2012.
Stage 2
Applicants with the strongest business case will make it through to the second round, where they will be invited to give a ten-minute pitch about their business idea to the selection panel on the afternoon of Wednesday 2nd May. Please note if you are unable to attend the pitch interview you will be unable to apply for the scholarship.
Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 4th May. Funds for the scholarship will be released to Enterprise Scholars towards the end of May and Scholars will have access to all the scholarship benefits from June.
