Business Start-up

If you have an idea for a new business or want to find out more about being self employed, Business Start-up is here to help.

Whatever stage you're at, from idea generation through to trading, we can offer valuable support and resources to help you along the way.

In the last 5 years we have supported over 100 students and graduates to start up in business.

Business Start Up is part funded by the European and HEIF (Higher Education Innovation Fund). The project has attracted £105,000 of investment from the European Regional Development Fund as part of Europe's support for local economic development through the Yorkshire and Humber ERDF Programme 2007-13.
We work in partnership with Yorkshire's other Higher Education Institutions as part of the Graduate Entrepreneurship Project
