Employability Conference 2010

This year's conference provided academics and practitioners with the opportunity to share up to date and relevant research in the area of employer engagement. The range of experiences and activities presented thrughout the morning challenged delegates to consider what employer engagement means to them, their students and their institution.  During the afternoon, we heard from a number of employers exploring topics such as graduate skills, PDP, partnership activity and employer expectations.

Reflection from the 2009 Conference
The third Employability Conference (Innovative Assessment & Feedback) took place on 1 April 2009 with 80 delegates from over 30 institutions in attendance.  Speakers explored new and innovative ways to provide assessment feedback to students and across the breadth of presentations there was something new and interesting to be learnt and cascaded by all of those attending. Feedback was positive and included:

"Inspiring, relevant and applicable"
"Practical, fun, though provoking"
"Spending time thinking about how and why we assess"
"I found all sessions attended totally beneficial"
