MetTV has entered the category of Best Documentary in the National Student Television Association Awards, which aim to identify and celebrate the best student television channels in the UK. A new website has launched to help students with children prepare for university life. On the 8th March our University's Equality Team in partnership with the International Affairs Forum coordinated a public lecture series contrasting the lives and experiences of women in history with the challenges faced by women in modern times. Making the move to university can be difficult for students with additional support needs. A workshop held at Leeds Met aimed to equip those working with these students with the skills to support them.
