Disability Resource Areas

Each Library at Leeds Met has a Disability Resource Area, these areas provide a range of specialist IT equipment and software to support disabled and dyslexic students and staff.

If you are a student you must first have registered with Disability Services before you can access the areas.

Some of the hardware available includes large screen monitors, a variety of keyboards and mice, TFT monitors and scanners.

The software available includes Kurtzweil 3000, TextHelp Read and Write, Inspiration, Jaws, Zoom Text, Supernova, and QuickScan, in addition to programmes available on the standard provision.
