Disabled Students' Allowance and Assessment Centre

Disabled Student's Allowance (DSA)

Before you can get Disabled Students' Allowance (DSA) your funding body - Student Finance England (SFE) or the NHS will require you to undergo an Assessment of Need to determine the type and level of support you will require as a disabled student. Leeds Met is on the DSA list of accredited centres able to perform those Needs Assessments.

Before you can have a Needs Assessment you will need to have confirmation from your funding body that you are eligible to have one. We can help you get this confirmation if you wish. When you have the confirmation please contact us and we will make an appointment for you to see one of our Assessors.

Further advice on this can be obtained from Disability Services, who will be pleased to guide you through the process.

We currently have appointments available in the next three weeks.
