Africa

Egypt: 2nd - 9th October 2009
Volunteers will join a community building project at the Bedouin village of Nawamis, South Sinai, Egypt. TEAM RECRUITED

South Africa: 22nd August - 26th September 2009
Volunteering opportunities in Durban and the Spion Kop/Ladysmith areas. Four weeks volunteering with an optional week of travel. TEAM RECRUITED

Asia

India: December 2009 - January 2010
Educational activities with children and adults with various charities near Pune. Three weeks with the option of extra travel time. Applications later in the year.

Indonesia: 13th June - 11th July 2009
English teaching, sustainable design and construction, and Eco-tourism work at The Kaliandra Foundation, an NGO. Three weeks plus optional week of travel. TEAM RECRUITED

Sri Lanka: 20th July - 17th August 2009
Volunteers will work with the Leo club of Colombo Millennium and Leo District Council. Three weeks of volunteering with an optional week of organised travel. TEAM RECRUITED

Thailand: 19th June - 12th July 2009
Buidling playgrounds and teaching English in a coastal town. Three weeks with the option of extra travel time. TEAM RECRUITED

Europe

Greece: 17th July - 25th August 2009
Turtle conservation work in various costal locations on Crete. One month with the option of extra travel time. TEAM RECRUITED

Poland: 30th May - 14th June 2009
Unfortunately the Poland 2009 trip has been cancelled for this year. The next trip will be May 2010.

Romania: summer 2009
Summer camps with Roma children in Transylvania. Three two-week trips to choose from. TEAM RECRUITED.

Turkey: 2nd - 13th October 2009
Joining with The Abraham Path Initiative, an international NGO working on community development projects. Application deadline 27th July 2009.

North America

USA: 25th July - 16th August 2009
Helping with the work of a community centre including children's summer camps and working with older people in Rochester, NY state. Three weeks. TEAM RECRUITED

Latin America

Brazil: 14th May - 12th June 2009
Volunteering with charity Espaço Criança Esperança helping children from deprived backgrounds to access social and educational activities. Four weeks of volunteering and travel. TEAM RECRUITED

Peru: 12th September - 18th October 2009
Working at Project Peru's centre in Zapallel which provides food, shelter and support for children. Five weeks of volunteering and travel. TEAM RECUITED
