About us
Our aim is simple: to help more students and staff of Leeds Metropolitan to engage in volunteer work both in Leeds and abroad. Why? Because volunteering enhances our personal and professional development and because Leeds Metropolitan has a commitment to support its many community partners.
Volunteering
Volunteering is a great way to gain experience, learn new skills and feel like you're doing something worthwhile. Make a difference to the world and to your CV! During your time at Leeds Met we can help you find volunteer work in local community groups, charities and sports clubs, you could run your own social action volunteering project, or you can apply to be part of a team on one of our many volunteering projects abroad. Whether it's fundraising for a children's ward, accountancy for a small local charity, coaching in an after school sports club, organising a tea party for isolated older people or working at a children's home in South Africa or India we can help you make a difference.
