As part of the School of Landscape Architecture and Design we promote practice which links interior study with architecture, landscape and design. Our design projects respond to contemporary issues and many are live briefs with external clients. Our teaching staff are practitioners; designers and architects with experience and contacts with nationally and internationally renowned design consultancies and architectural practices.

Building on our Art School tradition we nurture our students’ talents, encouraging conceptual-thinking, experiment, enquiry, innovation. We develop the thinking-designer with a strong personal philosophy and a grounded design ideology. Our graduates are sought after for their highly creative and individual approaches.
