Well Met shortlisted for business tourism accolade
The multi award-winning Well Met Conferencing is celebrating once again after being shortlisted as one of the top business tourism venues in Yorkshire. Organised by Welcome to Yorkshire, this year's White Rose Award's winners will be announced at a spectacular black tie event on Monday 4th October at the Yorkshire Event Centre in Harrogate.
The White Rose Awards recognise the cream of the crop of Yorkshire's business tourism venues so the competition is always strong and all the venues have to be of a very high standard. Judging of the Awards is undertaken by a panel of independent judges chaired by Barbara Woroncow OBE and shortlisted finalists will be subject to a mystery visit.
Well Met Conferencing are up against stiff competition at this year's event. Finalists include Shine in Leeds, Weetwood Hall Conference Centre & Hotel in Leeds, National Railway Museum in York, Sheffield International Venues Conferencing & Events & Yorkshire Sculpture Park near Wakefield.
Kate Pitcher, Business Development Manager for Well Met Conferencing, said:
"To be shortlisted in such a high calibre category is a fantastic achievement. Well Met has had an amazing 2009 and 2010 to date and the team's hard work is being rewarded with this latest short-listing. We are looking forward to attending the awards ceremony in October and keeping our fingers crossed that we'll walk away with the accolade."
