Well Met Conferencing, the conference office for Leeds Metropolitan University, has a great deal to showcase at this year's CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition.

The event, which takes place from the 8-10 November at Manchester Central, will see Well Met Conferencing exhibiting with academic venue specialists, Venuemasters, on stand 4015. Well Met will be showcasing its award-winning and unique venues, especially its venues perfect for training sessions,  to HR specialists. The Well Met team will also be promoting their special Pay As You Go Offer and will give out a number of goodies to delegates visiting the stand.

2011 has been a fantastic year to date for Well Met Conferencing. The University was the first in the UK to achieve the GOLD Accredited in Meetings (AIM) certification from the Meetings Industry Association (MIA); Carnegie Village was awarded a 3* hotel-equivalent rating by the AA and; Well Met Conferencing swept the board at the Leeds Hotels & Venues Association awards ceremony scooping a podium place in three out of the five categories that they were nominated for. The 'Leeds Live it Love it' accolade went to Carnegie Village for being instrumental in attracting high profile business to the city from all over the world.

As one of the largest conference sites in the UK with more than 273 bedrooms and 120 meeting rooms, Well Met is the perfect destination for staff training, conferences, meetings and exhibitions to product launches, dinners, filming, corporate away days and team building events.

The flagship five-storey glass structure known as the Rose Bowl is the stand-out space and has won two design awards since its opening in 2009. Flooded with natural daylight and equipped with some of the latest AV technology, the venue holds from 64 to 256 delegates theatre style.

Other venues available at Well Met Conferencing - which offers a range of prestigious urban and parkland venues - include the Gandhi Hall, situated on the Headingley campus in 100 acres of picturesque parkland and capable of hosting conferences, formal dinners and exhibitions; and the James Graham Building, which has a number of IT labs and training rooms.
