AM2009 will be hosted by Leeds Metropolitan University in the Rose Bowl, its new state-of-the-art Business School. The Conference Chair is Professor Stephen Parkinson.
The Rose Bowl
The Rose Bowl, with its outstanding reflective glass centrepiece housing seven lecture theatres, sits at the heart of Leeds Civic Quarter, where the education, business and legal communities of the city and region meet. Its atrium design will provide a light and open space where exhibitors will enjoy direct access to Conference delegates. Refreshments for delegates will be served in the exhibition areas during the Conference.
Exhibitors
Display space
All exhibitors will be provided with a table and 2 chairs, and approximately 6 square metres of space for your displays. As this is a new open-plan building and we aim to provide as much delegate access to your stand as possible, sites adjacent to fixed back walls are unlikely to be available. We are, however, happy to discuss your requirements regarding the setting of your stand and offer alternatives. Wireless internet is available throughout the Rose Bowl.

The exhibitors’ package will cover (for one exhibitor):

Sponsorship
AM2009 will provide excellent opportunities for sponsors, including awards for the best paper in each Conference track. Other options include:
- Inserts in Conference bags Cost: £100 + VAT
- Insertion of an A5 flier, provided by you, into all Conference bags.
- Conference Programme:
Cost: £250 + VAT
- Full-page advertisement in the Conference programme (text and/or graphic)

Delivery and set-up
As in previous years, the main Conference will begin after lunch on Tuesday 7th July and the academic sessions will end at c 17.00 on Thursday 9th July.
Exhibition materials must be delivered no earlier than Monday 6th July and collected no later than Friday 10th July.
It is recommended that exhibitors have stands prepared by 12.00 on the 7th. Stands must be dismantled on the afternoon of Thursday 9th after the tea break.
Please note that neither the Academy of Marketing nor Leeds Metropolitan University can be held responsible for the security of items on exhibition stands and strongly recommend that stands are staffed at all times.
