Guidelines for submission and deadlines

Abstract submission deadline is extended to 21st February 2005

You can attend the conference and/or make an oral or poster presentation.

Presentation will be limited to 15 minutes. A short period of time will be given to questions.

Language: The communications and/posters can be presented in French or English.

Authors are encouraged to prepare two PowerPoint documents one in French and the other in English to ensure a better diffusion of information to all the audience.

Two types of submissions are subject to expertise:

  • Experimental research;
  • Review of literature or innovation related to teaching or to training;

All submissions will be peer reviewed and published in the Conference Proceedings. The form of the presentation (poster / oral) is decided by the scientific committee.

Certain authors will be possibly asked to submit a complete version of their paper.


Guidelines for submission

Authors should send their abstracts electronically (attached file) to Monèm Jemni,

Leeds Metropolitan University at: M.Jemni@leedsmet.ac.uk. Authors can also send their abstracts on floppy disk (see address below).

Submitted abstracts (including references and illustrations) must be submitted in Microsoft Word format, using:

  • Format: Word
  • Number of pages: 3
  • Font: Times-New Roman 12 for the text and 10 for the bibliography
  • Text: Justified
  • Line space: Simple
  • Margins: 2 all sides
  • The title of the communication must be accompanied by the name of the authors and their institutions as well as 5 key words to the maximum.
  • Illustrations, tables, and graphs should be integrated directly into the paper.
  • References should follow the format of the American Psychological Association (APA) – font 10.

The abstract should include the following chapters:

  • Introduction: purpose of the study, short review of literature
  • Method: acquisition of the data and analysis
  • Results: text, graphs or/or tables
  • Discussion: principal results and conclusion
  • References: APA format (font 10)

Workshop submission

Authors may submit abstract to run a workshop. The abstract should include the objectives of the workshop as well as a summary of the topics which will be the baseline of the discussion.

A workshop lasts one hour.


Deadlines

Abstract submission deadline is extended to 21st February 2005. Submissions should be sent by email or on a floppy disk to:

Authors will be informed of the results of the expertise before 05 March 2005.

Resubmissions are due no later than 20 March 2005 to facilitate the realization of the conference proceedings.
