Carnegie Faculty has a proud tradition that can be traced back over 100 years to the Carnegie College which was based on what is now our Headingley Campus.
Students benefit from a unique opportunity to work with our local, national and international partners in education and voluntary services. They also take advantage of volunteering opportunities and make a significant contribution to children's lives within the local community and across the world.
Sports students are taught by experienced lecturers and coaches some who have represented their country at an international level. Today these same people help to push the University's own students on to great sporting success.
In recent years individuals and teams from Carnegie have competed at the highest levels of University sport, climbing to 2nd in the British University and Colleges' Sports League, having produced students who are currently world champions in their chosen discipline.
