Teacher Continuing Professional Development programme

The Carnegie Faculty has recently refreshed its teacher CPD provision to enable teachers to access leading edge provision which supports the latest developments in learning, teaching and leadership within schools, colleges and learning centres.

Key features of the provision are that it provides opportunities for:-

· Career-long CPD, from PGCE / NQT through to senior leadership, underpinning the development of a Masters level teaching profession

· Obtaining academic credit at Masters level alongside professional accreditation gained through Carnegie Leaders in Learning / National College for School Leadership courses;

· Teachers' coaching and mentoring colleagues on the new DCSF/TDA Masters in Teaching and Learning to gain formal academic accreditation for their work.

The awards on offer include a Postgraduate Certificate and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Development, a Postgraduate Certificate in Special Educational Needs Coordination, a Postgraduate Diploma in Leadership and Management , an MSc. in Leadership and Management, and a Masters in Teaching and Learning.
