How to improve your chances of finding work
Although we offer a range of opportunities we cannot guarantee work for every student.
To increase your chances of finding work follow these steps:
. Ensure you are fully registered with us (as described above)
. Check the Jobs Online site weekly for new opportunities and to update your availability for work
. Do not rely on the Jobs team alone to find you work - consider registering for other employment agencies in Leeds. Other websites which sometimes advertise part-time jobs include Leeds Gumtree, Leeds Jobs Today, Direct Gov (Job Centre Plus) and My Leeds Jobs.
. Create an up to date CV to contact possible employers. Advice on writing effective CVs is available on our Jobs and Careers site.
