Inspirational Leadership Lecture

Zulfiqar Hussain, Founder of Global Promise

Leading businessman and international speaker, Zulfiqar Hussain arrived in
Britain unable to speak one word of English, but went on to be awarded an MBE
in recognition for his work in supporting local businesses and charities.

Zulfiqar founded the international charity, Global Promise, in 2005 in response to the Tsunami
in South Asia, for which he raised over £2m. Driven by a sense of vision and passion,
Zulfiqar’s early ideas have matured into tangible and meaningful initiatives and
through his inspirational leadership, the charity now focuses on improving the quality
of life in local communities around the world.
