When Zoe Smith graduated from her art studies in 2002 she committed herself to starting her own business. Although she does not have a business background, she comes from a family of entrepreneurs and as arts is such a hard industry to earn a decent living in, she was confident she had the skills and drive to do better on her own.

Zoe has used the last year to get her name out and to do extensive market research. She specialises in quality large scale fabric and wallpaper image printing, using technology that is way ahead of its time. She is hoping that this will enable her to expand while others are playing catch up.

Leeds is an ideal market for the business, not only because there is a lack of commercial art companies, but also because she is ahead of the competition before she has even started. Zoe even has plans for two offshoots of the company: a printing service and a commercial gallery.
