Workshop testimonials
The workshops are a great opportunity to meet lots of really nice people who want to start their own business and we found the business planning session run by Mark Taylor really useful.
Caroline Pearson and Linda Richardson.
The workshops provided me with a really useful insight into what it takes to start your own business and they helped me confirm in my own mind that I am now ready to progress my idea. It was great to be surrounded by people with the same mind set as me.
Sean Langer
It was great to share experiences with like-minded people. Ros Walker (Clout Marketing) was very professional and she provided realistic examples which I found really useful for my business idea.
Anna Bluke
Great to listen to a variety of professional who have been there and done it and can give real world examples.
Stephen Thorpe
I found the marketing and finance workshops really useful, and being able to talk to the business advisor on a 1-2-1 basis about business planning has been great.
Sammie Lovett
Overall, the series of workshops were very informative, each workshop covered important topics which were relevant to me starting my own business, I particularly found the finance and tax sessions really useful. The programme has opened my eyes to what’s involved in running a business. It’s great to know that help is available at University.
