Do
The Proof of Concept fund
The Proof of Concept fund aims to provide financial assistance to help students and graduates of Leeds Met to establish the feasibility of their business ideas.
It supports the early stage development of ideas that show good commercial potential with an initial evaluation award of up to £300 towards Market Research that can be followed by a development award to take the total grant to £1000.
In the last 6 years Business Start-up has provided numerous grants that have led to over 100 start-up businesses.
To be considered you must first apply for the support of Leeds Met Business Start-up and book an appointment to see us in order to discuss your intentions in more detail.
The next step is to complete the application form (MS Word) and submit it to Business Start-up for consideration.
Applications will be evaluated every six weeks or so. Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview.
The next closing date for applications is Friday 20th May 2011 with interviews scheduled in March.
