The AUA Charity Quiz will now take place on 22nd November, 5.30 for 6.00 in the Student Union Bar, Civic Quarter. Please come along for a fun night out. All proceeds are going to Candlelighters Children's Cancer Charity at St James's Hospital.

The North East Regional Conference entitled Internationalisation and the University Administrator will take place on the Thursday 20th September 2007 at Durham University. Full details of the programme can be found here.

The Second Yorkshire Regional AUA Conference will take place on Friday 18th May in Cloth Hall Court. Details of the conference programme, session abstracts, booking form and conference choice form are available from here. The cost of the conference is £25 per person, including lunch. The Keynote speech will be given by Paul McGowan of Watson Burton LLP. The title of his talk is "Age Discrimination - Challenges and Opportunities for All of us".

Congratulation to Mark Warner & Jennifer Murray who are both traveling to New Zealand, to is undertaken study tour in Universities,stainable development and green issue.

The next quiz is to be held in the Students Union Civic Quarter on March the 14th couple to a charity auction of unwanted and unloved gifts for Candlelighters

Staff Development Festival in 2007, will include the very popular Charity Pub Quiz and the Charity Services Auction again. Other main stream and fringe events will be announced as they are organised

National Conference is being held at the University of Nottingham on 2-4 April 2007  - look at www.aua.ac.uk @manchester/events/conference for details – the best conference for administrators, mangers and support staff in education.

The Yorkshire Regional Conference will again be held in May 2007 – watch out for details in February.
