MA Filmmaking Open Day - Sat 20 February

The application process for this new and exciting masters course is now open and interested parties are invited to attend the MA Filmmaking Open Day this Saturday 20 February, to find out more.

The Open Day will involve presentations by the course leaders, talks by lecturers from the different creative skills and a tour of the Electric Press Building - the established home of the Northern Film School.

There is an option to attend a morning or afternoon session.  The morning option will take place 10.00am - 1.00pm and the afternoon session from 2.00pm - 4.00pm.

There is no need to book, just turn up on the day, at either 10.00am or 2.00pm, at the Electric Press Building on Millennium Square, Leeds, LS2 3AD and go to room 209 on the second floor.  Refreshments will be provided.


Applicant Visit Days

What are they?
If you have applied for one of our undergraduate courses, the next step is to attend one of our Applicant Days.

Our Applicant Days are a chance to visit us here at Leeds Met, see where you will be studying, and meet staff and current students. You will also be able to find out more about your course and view our student accommodation. All of which helps you to make an informed decision about whether your chosen course, University and city are right for you.

Where are they?
Our Applicant Days take place at the Civic Quarter, the home of the Faculty of Arts & Society, and where you will be based should you choose to come and study with us.

How do I book my place?
The next step is to visit the Applicant Day booking site and follow the simple instructions to log in or create a new account  in the Experience Leeds Met Portal where you can book a place on one of our Applicant Days. You can bring up to two family members or friends along with you but spaces are limited so book early to guarantee your place.

An information pack will be sent to you 1-2 weeks prior to your visit.

If you are unable to attend one of the scheduled open days for your chosen course then you can still come and visit us by booking onto a campus tour on a date to suit you.

University Open Days

If you're thinking of studying at Leeds Met, you should attend one of our Open Day Festivals. Open Days are a fantastic way to get a real feel for a University and the opportunity to speak to staff and existing students. As well as the chance to pick up course literature, you can also attend course specific talks, have one-to-one conversations with Course Leaders, take a tour of our facilities and find out about the range of exciting opportunities available to you alongside your studies.
