StaffIan Richardson Ian Richardson B.A., M.A. joined the School in early 2005. Prior to that he has worked in a number of roles across the University and has extensive experience of the University's administrative functions. Ian is responsible for the day-to-day administration within both CUDEM and CeBE, in particular relation to the individual research projects, in addition to working within the wider School administrative team. For any queries relating to CUDEM, Ian should be the first port of call. Before working at Leeds Met, Ian studied Scandinavian Studies followed by a Master's degree in Medieval Swedish and Dutch at the University of Hull. Ian also works for the School of Languages as a part-time lecturer in Danish/Norwegian and is also a part-time researcher at the University of Nottingham. Ian is a language specialist and is particularly interested in the development and divergence of the Scandinavian languages during the Viking Age, as evidenced through the medium of runic inscriptions.
