StaffDavid Haigh David Haigh MIED ACIH joined Leeds Metropolitan University as a part time lecturer in 2003, jointly working with local government at Leeds City Council. Prior to teaching, David had over 7 years experience working in local government covering disciplines in planning, local economics, regeneration, community planning and housing. Now teaching full time, David enjoys teaching housing, human geography and regeneration and takes particular interest in local economic development. David is mid way through a PhD at the University of Hull. He is undertaking a regional comparison of social enterprise development and support within the North East of England and Yorkshire and the Humber. This is an Economic Social Research Council award and involves Yorkshire Forward as the collaborating organisation.
