ADIT

The Leeds School of Contemporary Art and Graphic Design is a partner in an AHRC funded research training network that has developed, with Sheffield Hallam University as the lead institution, the ADIT database - the first comprehensive index of postgraduate theses in art and design in the UK.

Axis | Dialogue

Dialogue generates new critical writing on contemporary art with a programme that reflects upon the practice of artists featured across the Axis database as well as a wider circle of UK-based artists. It is produced in quarterly editions comprising essays, interviews, reviews and documented discussions. Dialogue is funded by the Arts Council of England and the Arts Council of Wales and also supported by The Leeds School of Contemporary Art and Graphic Design at Leeds Metropolitan University.

Research in contemporary art and graphic design is closely linked with research in The Leeds School of Architecture Landscape and Design. We jointly submit to HEFCE's Research Assessment Exercise under Unit 63 and together we constitute Art and Design Research at Leeds Met where we are represented on the website:

The Centre for Tourism and Cultural Change

Established in 2001, the CTCC is one of the leading international platforms for tourism research. It is a transdisciplinary research organisation with a global network of research partners and professional collaborators, the focus of whose work is on the multi-dimensional relationships between tourism and contemporary cultures. In this context the Centre has close ties with research in contemporary art and graphic design at Leeds Met.
