Research

The School has a strong profile in all aspects of scholarly and applied research in all its fields of interest. For prospective students, the School offers postgraduate research awards at Masters and Doctoral levels in the Built Environment and Town and Country Planning. The School has three recognised research centres, which promote scholarly and applied research and undertake consultancy. Follow the links on the right for further information.

Funding for research comes from a range of sources including Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE), Higher Education Innovation Fund (HEIF) and the Teaching Quality Enhancement Fund (TQEF).

The knowledge gained from research is disseminated through conferences, exhibitions, lectures and seminars.
