Peter Dixon

BiographyPeter L. Dixon Peter has fifteen years extensive experience within the museum, exhibition, educational, industrial, and product design sectors, including projects such as the Dyson Headquarters, Explore @ Bristol, Bloomberg European Headquarters. He has worked within some the most well known international architectural and design practices such as Wilkinson Eyre Architects and Powell-Tuck Associates.
Peter's passion is within museum and exhibition design. He has worked on some the countries most prolific museum and gallery spaces notably, Making the Modern World and The Wellcome Wing at the Science Museum, Museum of London and Bloomberg Artspace and Magna. This passion continues with Peter introducing live cultural projects within the context of the studio. He has lectured both nationally and internationally.
The projects that Peter has worked on have received numerous design awards, including RIBA Stirling Award, FX, Design Week, D&AD awards including environmental design/architecture and Design for the Workplace, British Council Design awards in addition to being commended for products of innovation for furniture by the SDI and has a permanent piece in the Science Museum, London. Peter continues to practice as Director of Deptstudio Chartered Designers undertaking specialist design consultancy on a range of differing projects.
