Biography

Katie Hill, BA (Hons) PGCHE is a lecturer and PhD student in the design department and is part of research group Design Leeds. Her research interests are in the use of design processes and design thinking in the context of regeneration and community development, and the politics of those practices. With a history in both academia and consultancy, she has worked for public sector clients including a number of Local Authorities on policy development and community consultation. She is a director and advisor to several social enterprises in Leeds including Leeds Love It Share It, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
