Biography

Emma is a Chartered Landscape Architect with project and research experience in sustainability issues, edible landscapes, landscape planning, and design. Emma is passionate about landscape and loves its multiple layers and levels of complexity. She believes that the design and management of the landscape and its integration with natural processes and other built environment disciplines is crucial in the design and management of sustainable practices. Emma has worked upon a wide range of design projects at all scales from planning to construction and has significant project experience in developing community participation programmes.  She likes to work with trace and technology interchangeably and has a good working knowledge of IT programmes. Emma's teaching is focused upon inspiring and informing student project work and she really enjoys getting her students involved in live design and research projects.
