Facilities

Students of the Leeds School of  Architecture, Landscape and Design have access to a range of specialist facilities in addition to the general teaching and learning facilities provided by the University.

A common feature of the School's courses is the acquisition and application of relevant professional skills and therefore much of the student's learning is through practical project work. The facilities provided are an essential part of this learning process.

Students are introduced to and inducted into the use of the specialist facilities as is relevant to their course, level of study and personal Learning Agreement. Facilities are commonly shared by more than one course from across a number of Schools and consequently offer the opportunity to share experiences and approaches with students from other discipline areas.
