Young Curators is Leeds Met Gallery's interactive programme that gives participants a practical introduction to curating.
This is the second run of our successful development programme aimed at 16-19yr olds interested in a career in the arts. Looking at all aspects of creating an exhibition, participants will gain transferable skills including presentation and research skills, public speaking, critical writing and project management.
Their exhibition reduction previews at Broadcasting Place on Wednesday 2 March, 6-8pm and will be open to the public until Friday 25 March.
Our Young Curators, past and present, were involved involved in choosing works for the Leeds Art Gallery Open Show earlier this year. Click here to see Kate Fellows (Learning Manager at Leeds City Council) talking about the open show and the YC involvement, filmed for Radiowaves.
