Leeds Railway Station
A new billboard work from Alan Dunn inspired by 2001 A Space Odyssey and Olafur Eliasson's Weather Project at Tate Modern. High up in Leeds Railway Station concourse, a vision of the moon will appear, hand-painted and including fragments of broken gothic records. Down below, a genuine tiny fragment of a heatshield from Apollo 8, flown near the moon in December 1968, will be presented for viewing.
