A:CT II

Following the success of A:CT I we offered more participants the chance to take part in a groundbreaking series of professional development workshops and theatre making events designed to impact directly on the participants continued development as teachers of performance.

Drawing heavily on aspects of last year's project we offered open evening workshops to professional performance teachers or education artists.
The first was run by Stacy Makishi in October 2008. Followed by workshops by Georgina Lamb, Associate Artist with Frantic Assembly (February 2009), Mandy Lawrence, Performer with Kneehigh Theatre (March 2009).

In Spring/Summer 2009 there were two concentrated "making" weekends where the workshop model was extended over a long weekend with up to 15 participants working alongside peers and performance makers to explore contemporary creative technique and to evidence this learning by making short works for sharing.
