Leeds Metropolitan University is an accredited BIFM centre offering a full range of BIFM Qualifications from Level 4 Award, through to Level 6 Diploma.

Level 4 - Award, Certificate or Diploma
Who is it for?
BIFM Level 4 Qualifications in Facilities Management provide a broad understanding of facilities management for practising or aspiring operational Facilities Managers.
What is it about?
The qualification is the same level as the first year of a degree or HND.
You can choose a depth to suit you:
Level 4 Award
- 12 Credits
Approximately 49 hours study
Level 4 Certificate - 24 Credits
Approximately 98 hours study
Level 4 Diploma - 48 Credits
Approximately 196 hours study

Level 5 - Award, Certificate or Diploma
Who is it for?
The BIFM Level 5 Qualifications in Facilities Management have been designed for facilities managers at middle/senior management levels.
What is it about?
The qualification is the same level as the final year of an HND or Foundation Degree.
You can choose a depth to suit you:
Level 5 Award
- 12 Credits
Approximately 49 hours study
Level 5 Certificate - 24 Credits
Approximately 98 hours study
Level 5 Diploma - 48 Credits

Level 6 - Award, Certificate or Diploma
Who is it for?
BIFM level 6 qualifications in facilities management are for senior, strategic facilities managers.
What is it about?
BIFM level 6 qualifications develop the strategic skills and knowledge for those facilities professionals working at or aspiring to senior positions. By achieving the qualifications, you will reflect the ability to refine and use relevant understanding, methods and skills to address complex problems. They will help ensure that you are able to take responsibility for planning and delivering plans that are able to underpin substantial change or development, as well as exercising broad autonomy and judgement (based on Ofqual level descriptor).
The qualification is the same level as the final year of a degree.
You can choose a depth to suit you:
Level 6 Award
- 10 Credits
Approximately 35 hours study
Level 6 Certificate - 30 Credits
Approximately 115 hours study
Level 6 Diploma - 60 Credits
Approximately 230 hours study
