What's Included?
Different properties can offer different items covered by your rent. These may include:
Utilities such as heating and lighting, insurance for personal possessions, washer/dryer and internet connection.
This depends on which residence you choose. Higher priced accommodation usually offers a greater range of facilities such as en-suite bathrooms and gym facilities.
This leaves you with only your food and a TV licence to pay for and if you get a food card to help budget when you first arrive and get your flat mates to chip for a TV licence you've made your money go that bit further.
Having to pay for heating and lighting separately? Then you should budget for £5.00-£6.00 per week depending on usage.
